Yeah it's SUPER lame. I do plan on using the syllables just because it makes more sense and is better to know, but now I've got twice as much work because I'll be teaching myself the *right* way and then memorizing stupid numbers for my in-class stuff, exams, and auditions... Damn. I wish my school wasn't so retarded... :(
