Yep-- promotions are pretty exciting things. Now, promotions in the non-profit sector are slightly different than in the "other world," but exciting nonetheless. I finally have benefits! And, get this-- paid vacations!

Working for The Godman Guild Association is really excellent for me because it requires me to put some creativity to work on

Glad you were able to find something you enjoy. Rare thing for a person to find a job rewarding.

I just finished Old School by Tobias Wolff which was pretty entertaining, although I'm guessing you may have already read that. I've been picking up stuff I meant to read years ago to Grandview's sad-but-smiling library instead of buying anything lately.

I have a shit ton of books. A lot of them are in the living room in the fireplace mantel. If you see one you're interested don't hesitate to grab it up and let me know.
