Oh, Hun... that is so beautiful and so bittersweet. Everyone was just right.

And I firmly believe the only reasons Abby left the room there at the end was to go find Ducky and help him chew out that idiot doctor.

Awww poor Tony, its so like the character, Gibbs and everyone elses reactions when they realised he was talking about Kate were wonderful, Gibbs looking and finding Tony then taking care of him, just perfect.

As much as I so sorely miss Kate, she's been a wonderful plot device as she was never truly openly dealt with in the past. And oooh, had a thing for grouchy caretaking Gibbs! Glad you like! :)

I love everything you write and am delighted to see a new (to me) NCIS story. This one was wonderful and after the episode last night (the clip show), this was especially touching. Thank you for sharing.

Ah yes, the clips episode. Oh, it really did make me miss Kate more! I'm happy to hear this fic could echo the episode even in the remotest way. :)

I just re-read this as it was recommended on Crack Van and it's still such a wonderful story and has such a tremendous flow of emotion rushing by just under the surface of the story.
