Got a "lovely" surprise in the mail yesterday. I've got 3 months to move out of the flat I've lived in for 24 years. :( The perils of renting, I guess. Y'know, I had hoped to never see her name on a ballot ever again...

Turns out my internet connection was not fixed by Telstra, but by the nature of the net. It's a far more forgiving signal than a phone line is. So while I thought I needed a new handset, it was that the connection was actually still down.
