OMFG. Wow. Just. Wow.
That ending. These last sentences. No words.
I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes, trying really, really hard not to sob. Damn you, woman, and your mad writing skills. I'm at work. This is a bit embarassing...

All that's left to say is, I'm looking forward to the epilogue. And that I enjoyed the ride very much. AYFN was the first Dany/Jorah fic I ever read and it was what made me follow you and start talking to you. So it's safe to say, we probably wouldn't have met if not for this fic. And that would have been a tragedy!

I take it my struggle to get the underlying tension of the last scene right worked? ;)

Goodness, my dear, you just couldn't have said anything to make me happier about how this chapter came out than this. I am just so pleased that it touched you like that (though sorry you were embarrassed at work, lol). You have no idea what's to come in the epilogue, do you?

we probably wouldn't have met if not for this fic. And that would have been a tragedy!

And now I'm crying...

Thank you, darling, for reading and for commenting...now and that first time. It's been a fun ride with you. *hugs*

Maybe ;)

And no, for once I have no idea what happens next. And am really happy about it. Something to look forward to for the last time.

And now I'm crying...
Sorry, babe. I'm feeling overyl sentimental today *hugs*

This entire story was beautiful. (Also YES hope for Sansa/Tyrion.) Thank you for being so unfailingly awesome. <3

Thank you so much my dear. And in my world, Tyrion returns to Westeros and Sansa is prepared to make a go of it. ALL THE HAPPY ENDINGS.

Why, thank you, my dear! ♥

NGL, I'm quite proud of myself for keeping up a WIP without really missing a week till here at the end.

Aegon--King Aegon, the Sixth of that name--had cut off the dyed blue ends of his hair by which he had disguised himself as the lowborn son of a Tyroshi woman.

It makes him seem very solemn and regal.

"Your seat shall be at Dragonstone, the place of your birth, and I shall grant your husband his pardon, restoring his lordship and extending his lands and holdings, as befits your high birth."

That is very generous of him, but he’s doing it for propriety’s sake - and for her dragons.

The entire thing about Drogon (and Dany) was sad, but also comforting in that there is a future for them all that is not filled with rage.

Jorah at once felt elation to see it twitch with the widening of her smile, and a heaviness that Tyrion, too often of late the only person capable of eliciting anything like merriment from her, would no longer be their constant companion.

Heh, yes, Tyrion is an interesting and entertaining companion - no impness involved :)

Still, grace, like ice, must crack under pressure, and while Dany could not burn ( ... )

I feel so slow. I didn’t realize it was a play on Dany’s name until I read on. *embarrassed*

It's actually a really obscure canon reference! Drogo calls her "Dan Ares wife" at one point in AGOT. I guess Daenerys is a difficult word for Dothraki to pronounce. ;) I thought it was cute so I put it in here.

Really, really pleased you liked the chapter. Of course, it's not quite the end.

I just really appreciate you reading this chapter from beginning to end and for all your lovely comments. ♥

True! I thought it sounded familiar as I figured it out ;)
It is cute!

Yes, I know. Will it ever /truly/ be? :P

You're welcome!!
And thanks again for letting me know I had missed it the other day.

As I read this final chapter, it really strikes me the distance you've traveled in developing these characters, separately and together. It really bears reading from beginning to end to see how you've crafted the growth amongst a really epic tale. That you managed to wrap up all these various threads is quite impressive. I doubt GRRM will be able to do as much in 2 books. ;)

I love that the theme of home carries right through to the end.

Aw, thank you so much, darling! I was worried when I started out that this was a bit of an ambitious project, but I saw it through and I just couldn't be more pleased that you think the characters grew and the story worked. :D

I WANT THEM TO GO HOME. Guh.
