Yeah, no, he definitely doesn’t.
Jorah might have sold a few poachers into slavery, but he was my right hand who commanded my army to victory against the Yunkai, and who went down into the sewers of Meereen to help me set these children free. It could not be just that the very man who had made her the Breaker of Chains now wore them. Was there no redemption?

There is! From you!
"How can I beg for any man's life who sold my queen's for coin?"
Because he’s prettier than you? ;)
Once I loved my lady wife, but I did not die with her, he'd said to her the night she burned Khal Drogo. Nor had Jorah given himself over to death when his Lady Lynesse left him to be concubine to another man. Jorah's love for Dany had never been a secret, but it seemed she had underestimated the depth of it. Putting in Jorah’s words makes the impact of his defeat harder. His love for her was truly ( ... )

WOOOOO!!!
Hee! I cannot stand Hizdahr and Dany's marriage to him completely baffles me. So not gonna lie, having her kill him at the fighting pits was quite a bit of personal wish fulfillment here, as much as having her rescue Jorah!
Thanks for reading, my dear! I'm so pleased you enjoyed. I love slightly nuts, badass!Dany. :D

And thank you so much for so perfectly writing this scenario, that I'm sure everyone was thinking about and hoping for when reading ADWD (or was that just me?).
What winded her was that the slave who shambled out into the searing red sand, barefoot and naked but for a soiled breechclout
As sad as this description of a broken Jorah is, I can't help but focus on the fact that he's practically naked!!
Seeing your proud knight made to dance before the queen he betrayed? Not so proud now, is he, the bear who loved the maiden fair?
If ever I neede more reason to dislike Hizdar, this would definitely qualify.
All through the seemingly endless succession of verses of the ribald song, he never once lifted his head, nor gave her so much as a glimpse of the white of an upturned eye.
This just breaks my heart *sniff*
Jorah had no doubt hunted these beasts there in his snowy pine forests;
Is it very shallow of me to be completely enarmored with the image of Jorah hunting bears? It seems so manly...

Well, I was spoiled before I got to that part of the book, but if I hadn't been, I'm perfectly sure I would have expected that to happen! When I saw someone say somewhere that they expected it, I thought it would have been perfect. The thought of them meeting again under these circumstances...guh. Though I do feel like I should probably write a sequel about what happens after the battle and they get back to Dany's pyramid, alone together...

If it is, I'm shallows, too. But doesn't Jorah seem like he'd be such an outdoorsy guy? I can just see him loving to fish and hunt and all the things you do on Bear Island. Besides, he's got to have bearskin rugs to have sex on.
Oh Jorah, you hopeless romantic...Only Jorah would be romantic in these circumstances, right ( ... )

YES!!!! I mean most of their clothes are gone already, so you wouldn't even have to worry about getting him out of his armor ;)

Guh. I like your thoughts! Very much :D

They're all dirty from the battle, though. They totally need a bath...

P.S. YES. Please, please, please, write a sequel!

But as her knees buckled, Jorah caught her by one arm and kept her upright.
As he always had.
That's just a really great moment in the fic. It's also nice seeing Dany save Jorah. I actually think that would help her get over her feelings of betrayal if she was given a moment of power like that.
"Will you fight for me, Ser Jorah?"
"I swore my sword and my heart to you the night you hatched that winged fury, my queen, and have never taken them back. Nor shall I ever."
I hope when they meet again--which darn it, they will!--it is half as cool as this.

Aw, I don't know about better--I do love the thought of Jorah in his breastblate with nipples scheming with Tyrion and bringing the wayward Second Sons back over to Dany--that's quite fitting--but I do think it was quite the tease to have Jorah so close to Dany and not have his arc come full circle with a woman being the reason he sold slaves to slave!Jorah being redeemed by Dany. And I love the idea in ASOIAF that it's the damsels actually saving the men in distress, as you said. So...thank you. I'd been wanting to write this for a while, and the Tourney was the perfect chance!
(Also, I can't quite fathom how it's all going to go down now that Dany's run into the Dothraki. Will they help her, or is she going to be taken prisoner? Because it's the guy who wanted to kill her or take her to Vaes Dothrak, right?)
I actually think that would help her get over her feelings ( ... )

To me it felt like a good thing. Did you have a gut reaction? But looking back, I couldn't actually say if my reaction was warranted.
