This is made of awesome. I love how Remus appreciates Tonks in such a human, normal way, instead of pretending she's some kind of goddess (although his love of her giant tits - LOL, he's not ashamed to be boyish, our Remus). I also like how he's not letting her morph, it makes their life more authentic somehow.

I love that Tonks still has her sense of humour. Kind of like you, of course, but it's something I can really imagine for Tonks. I see her as taking motherhood in her stride and not letting it change her too much.

Well done with this! It's a mark of a great writer that you can pull off something sweet and funny even when you're so busy.

Aw, fic from you! This was lovely to find right when I was looking for a short LJ break as a reward for getting an annoying job done. ;)

It's so lovely to see little moments between these two that show them building trust and relying on each other. I like the way the worries and uncertainties are not completely gone -- they wouldn't be! -- but there's a sense that they're really trying to look out for each other and be what is needed. (And keeping their senses of humor!)

Babies are such a great thing for bringing your life into very sharp focus, I'm discovering, and I think Teddy must have been such a great distraction for Remus and Tonks in those wartime days. Nothing else seems to matter except What You Must Do to Take Care of Baby. (That, and lack of sleep shuts the brain down to much else, lol.) I'm glad you think this moment worked for them and overshadowed those other issues they no doubt will always have. Thanks for reading and commenting!
