Awww, this was so cute. I love Little Noah and all his questions, and this:

Someday Noah will learn that the only thing his father has in common with angels is his name (and the ability to fly), but he'll also know that Daddy is Santa Claus, and stayed up all night to put together his first bike, and maybe that will make all the difference.

I know we didn't see much of Little Noah in 3x4, but coming from Gabriel, he just struck me as the kind of little kid who'd be a question machine, even more than most kids are. And I could see Gabriel loving how his son is cut from the same cloth as him, but Elle being totally exasperated. It was so much fun to write, and I'm glad you enjoyed reading him; I'm always paranoid when I write little kids they'll just be too precocious and therefore annoying, lol.

Thanks so much for your comments on that line, too; As usual I got to the end and panicked about how to wrap it all up without becoming cheese.

I love the angst and psychoness that is Sylar and Elle, but couldn't resist playing with the 3x4 alternate future and giving them a bit of Christmas fluff. If you can't write fluff at Christmas, when can you? ;)

Glad you agree that little Noah wouldn't fall far from the tree. ;) He didn't have many lines in 3x4, but that one little answer he gave, that "Abracadabra" is the magic word, really screamed "miniature smarty pants just like his father" to me.
