"Do you want her to take you seriously?" Remus asked.

Point- Remus. :D

"Remus Lupin! You're not giving Tonks a Wheezes birthday card!"

"Of course I am." His pleasant smile became a smirk as he read.

Marauder. LOL. Ah, Tonks would get a kick out of it.
I love seeing Remus with the twins. That's so hilarious how they just LAUGHED at Molly about the cards.

"And they're shut up in here alone for days on end. What d'you think Remus does besides express-"

"GEORGE!" Molly whirled around again.

Can't...breathe...
Oh my gosh, that was too hilarious. I need a better word than hilarious.
I. Love. The twins.

"And how d'you know a dirty joke doesn't express how Remus feels about Tonks' twenty-fifth birthday?"

Point! :)

"Just out of curiosity," George said, "what d'you call Tonks? I don't think any man could get out Nymph-"

In front of his mother? hahahahahahahaha
Though, that is an interesting question.... ;)

she found his composure disconcerting. Really now, he ought to be embarrassed that his former students were making off ( ... )

I'll let you in on a little secret: I never said what was in the card because I was too afraid I wouldn't make up something funny. Not funny enough for the twins, anyway, lol. but I would love a line of Weasleys Wizard Well Wishes in the card shop, wouldn't you?

Thank you, as always, for your thoughtful commentary! It's really so much fun to see the details go noticed. I'm really glad you liked this, especially the switch to Molly's POV at the end. Her perspective seemed the right one to bring out the tenderness in the midst of the comedy.

It's okay: I wouldn't know what to write for the twins to put either. Molly's P.O.V. was definitely perfect in the end. A great outsider's view, and you got her personality down great.

And yes, I would LOVE to see Weasley cards in a shop. Just something to brighten up the day

I think that this, as well as chapter 2 of Empathy really proves that Weasely twin humor is good medicine for the Tonks/Remus relationship.

I miss Fred as much as Remus and Tonks! It's so wrong that they were all lost. :(

Thanks for reading!
