Hope it clears up soon!

I also had vile toothache for several days up to yesterday. It's more or less gone now. To a chorus of cries of "chicken!", I didn't rush to the dentist. In fact I'm not scared of dentists at all; I felt it was just a mouth infection rather than a dental problem. This seems to have been the case.

But your tooth-grinding diagnosis now makes me wonder whether I've also been doing this to get faceache. Probably not, as I don't have any work stress.

How are you with aspirin? I hate paracetamol and codeine but am completely at home with aspirin, an effective pain reliever that doesn't make you woozy. And the gin worked pretty well too!

Thanks Mike.

The paracetamol and codeine gave me bizarre nightmares so I think I'll try aspirin. I've never had any problems with that in the past.

I take ibuprofen regularly for arthritis and I think I'm immune to it in low doses now ( ... )

Ah, go for the gin. Whenever I had to prepare reports or presentations to a deadline, I always did best when I was half (or more) pissed!

I play pool best when I'm half-cut, but my tryping goes all to hell so reports don't come out too well!

Hope the painkillers kick in - *hugs* I can't take codeine, turns me into a dizzy, fainty, feeling sick zombie :-/

Re codeine: I'm seem to have had that experience whilst asleep; nightmares were straight out of a sci-fi/horror movie!
