Last night I was going to go to sleep after I had done my nightly routines, and I go to open the door and I stub my toe. So I do the normal dancing about from stubbed toe pain and Rich yells "Are you ok in there?" well I'm about to answer fine when I look down and see blood all over the place

OUUUUCH. That sucks. I've done that kind of thing a few times before (not specifically with toe, though one time was...). Enough that the first time or two I saw blood and freaked out, then later times it was like "ouch. oh blood. hmm.... this might be messy."

When I was like 12 I stubbed my toe and it was bleeding all over and I started screaming and crying and stuff, but the TV was too loud, so nobody friggin heard me, so I had to hop into the next room and start howling more so I'd get some attention :P That was good times. And it led to all kinds of future toe problems! Hoo-ray!

I believe I was also 12 when I dropped a sliding glass door on my toe. That was fun, it swelled up and then the toenail fell off. D;

OMG, you poor thing! That hurts SO.DAMN.BAD. You don't realize how much you need/use your big toes for balance until one of them is injured! Here's hoping it heals quick, because I'm sure the stairs in your house are killing you right now!

(While you're keeping it bandaged, neosporin is your friend to speed healing and aid in pain relief.... I've had multiple surgeries on my big toes, I know from whence I speak!)

It doesn't hurt as much now, but it was really hard getting to sleep. :(

What makes me sad is we have only really crappy bandages so it feels all weird against my other toes.

Ouch! Poor you! I don't know how much blood you lost after bleeding for 8 hours, but drink lots of liquids okay?

I guess there is a good that can come out of this--you can ask Rich to carry you around everywhere! :D

-shakes hands in front of face- EWWWW I cannot deal with that, at all. Blood isnt the problem, what I find hard to handle is seeing a whole or something abnormal with the body.
