Two Things Regarding Dot and Sign Language

1.  People keep giving me credit for teaching Dot to be bi-lingual.  While I wish this was true, her sign language is really abbreviated from ASL, and some signs are completely different.  It's really just a shortcut for us in communicating since she can't speak much yet.  I doubt that she'll come out of this able to have a conversation with a deaf ( Read more... )

Suddenly she looks like a little girl instead of a baby! Such a pretty dress and she looks so sweet.

1. As she grows, you can easily switch her from baby signs to ASL. If you haven't checked out aslpro.com I highly recommend it. It covers a vast majority of all ASL, and gives you the tools to take her signing up a step as she gets older.

2. That's awesome! :D

She's getting so big! Our babies are totally little girls now. It's so cool seeing her grow up!
