The first indication Bernard had of his ride finally showing up was the fact that the tree outside his window started moving in a rather... restless fashion.

He quickly said goodbye to Kon and grabbed his coat, opening the window and looking out. "Tim?" he asked.

Kon floated a few feet above the beach, skipping stones. They went very, very far. It was very, very boring.

The minute Kon heard the sound of the Batplane, he dropped the rocks and flew up to meet it.

"Hey, Bart!" he shouted. "They're here!"

Tim landed the plane in the wide clear space by the house. He gave Bernard and Cissie a pained look. "Do we have to go through with this? There's still time to head back to the East Coast. Cissie? I'll watch whatever movie you want--no complaints. Even Bring it On."

Bernard tossed a piece of lint at Tim's face. "Shut it, Drake," he demanded. "First, you're wrestling my boyfriend because you love me oh-so-much, and second, Bring It On is an awesome movie. Don't hate." He laughed.
