Kon floated a few feet above the beach, skipping stones. They went very, very far. It was very, very boring.

The minute Kon heard the sound of the Batplane, he dropped the rocks and flew up to meet it.

"Hey, Bart!" he shouted. "They're here!"

Tim landed the plane in the wide clear space by the house. He gave Bernard and Cissie a pained look. "Do we have to go through with this? There's still time to head back to the East Coast. Cissie? I'll watch whatever movie you want--no complaints. Even Bring it On."

Bernard tossed a piece of lint at Tim's face. "Shut it, Drake," he demanded. "First, you're wrestling my boyfriend because you love me oh-so-much, and second, Bring It On is an awesome movie. Don't hate." He laughed.

Cissie reached over and patted Tim's arm sympathetically. "Oh, babe. Bring it On? I'm sorry. You must really not want to do this. Even though you usually don't complain too much when we do watch that. Or... don't watch."

Kon had been waiting long enough. He banged on the windshield, motioning his friends to come out.

Tim sighed heavily, and retracted the canopy. "I think I'd rather be not watching Bring it On with you right now. Hey, Kon."

Bernard grinned. "Hey, baby," he said, winking at Kon.

Cissie squeezed Tim's arm and waved up at Kon. "Hi, you."

"Hey, Cissie, Tim," Kon said, hugging the two of them. He flew over to Bernard and kissed him. "Hey, babe," he said.

Tim unbelted himself from his seat and got out to stretch a bit. He eyed Cissie. "You know--if they keep at it, we can probably get out of here without anyone being the wiser..."

Bernard grinned, kissing Kon back and flipping Tim off behind his back. He pulled away and unbuckled himself, standing up. "Don't think you can get out of this that easy, Drake," he warned.

Cissie rolled her eyes. "I still say there must have been coercion or brainwashing involved here."

"I don't know, but I'm pretty sure it was all Bernard and Tim's fault," Kon said, offering Cissie an arm down. "Seriously, these ruffians." He shook his head despairingly.

"And I'm sure it was all Bernard and your fault," Tim told him with a raised eyebrow. "Or do you remember who was convincing who to participate in this nightmare?"

Bernard grinned. "I'm happy to take the blame for this one," he said. "Though, in the interest of full disclosure, it was just a hypothetical idea until Kon volunteered." He held out his arms to Kon. "Gonna help me down, hotshot?" he asked, arching an eyebrow. "After all, what's the point of having a flying superstrong boyfriend if he's not gonna help me out of planes?"
