The NY Times predicts that unemployment due to this recession won't taper off until sometime in the summer. So I guess we could go so far as to say that ALL food is comfort food, provided you can still afford any -- that is, having the ability and resources to eat at all (whatever it is) being a comfort itself right now.

AND I read an article on graffiti and crime at Economist.com yesterday that made me club together a longer-than-necessary response that went nowhere. Then I posted it. On Facebook! But my rambling made me think of your rambling, which is the point of all this: I miss you. I will eventually visit and force both you and k@ to spoon me because THAT IS HOW YOU TREAT A GUEST.
