The NY Times predicts that unemployment due to this recession won't taper off until sometime in the summer. So I guess we could go so far as to say that ALL food is comfort food, provided you can still afford any -- that is, having the ability and resources to eat at all (whatever it is) being a comfort itself right now.
Also, hi. I'm going to comment on your other post, but I chose this one first because I'm a total fatboy and still provide MAXIMUM FOCUS when someone mentions food.
AND I read an article on graffiti and crime at Economist.com yesterday that made me club together a longer-than-necessary response that went nowhere. Then I posted it. On Facebook! But my rambling made me think of your rambling, which is the point of all this: I miss you. I will eventually visit and force both you and k@ to spoon me because THAT IS HOW YOU TREAT A GUEST. I don't have anyone to hash these stupid things out with anymore.
Oh goody, which means that it might remain difficult for kathectic to find a job... And at least we have rambling in common. I should really call you, and have even been meaning to, but have not. Have you noticed?

My good wishes to k@. It's pretty much going to suck for anyone looking to find a job and for anyone, like me, wanting to quit one for the hell of it.
