I finally got my work permit today, which I'm very happy about. But the problem that I am now faced with is this: I don't know if it's a good idea to look for a full-time job right now because my family from Poland might be coming here for the wedding. Looking for a job, especially in your field, takes time, as does getting it. So I would say you should look around a bit and see what's out there if for nothing else so that you have an idea. As for part-time or temporary that sounds good as well.

I just started paying off my student loans this month. it SUCKS! They may be able to defer you since you are not working. I, on the other hand, HAVE to pay now. I have no options! And it sucks because Jody and I are paying for the majority of our wedding by ourselves :( (everything but the reception hall). So money is REALLY tight.
