Dropping hints and things
I finally got my work permit today, which I'm very happy about. But the problem that I am now faced with is this: I don't know if it's a good idea to look for a full-time job right now because my family from Poland might be coming here for the wedding. They plan to stay for about 2 weeks and it wouldn't be fair to them if I was working the entire time because 1) I haven't seen them in 11 years and 2) It would be kind of awkward to leave them home with Rich's family all day since they don't speak any English. So I don't know if I should put off working until after the wedding or if I should try to find something temporary or part-time. It would be nice to get out of the house (I'm really starting to go crazy sitting here all day), but it's kind of stressful trying to balance everything all at once. Also, I won't know for sure if my family will be able to come til the first week of July because that's when they have their visa-getting appointment at the consulate.
I got my first student loan bill this morning, which depressed me since I am rather impecunious at the moment. I'm going to go research my deferment options now.
I really would like a walnut to keep me company.
