So the girlfriend has left for a week. She has things to do and people to see. Important people and things that if I told you I would have to kill you.

The punch lines is that that's only half a joke.

In the meantime I finally broke down a door and I have an interview! Its with the Center for Arms Control and Nonproliferation: hereIts for a " ( Read more... )

I don't know how picky you want it to be, but in IE6 on windows, on your main page, you have to ever so slightly scroll from side to side to see the whole page. Not much, but if you don't, you can't see that there is a black border line on each side.

Other than that, I like it!!
You did a good job. :)

Thanks!

Yeah, that would be the kind of annoying bug I want to be warned of :c)

With my luck the employer would be using that setup. I assume the resolution of your monitor is 800x600?

Yup... just checked Dreamweaver, it seems to indicate that at that resolution things are a little too wide. Just lopped off 50px from the width. Should look dandy now. :c) -- amature mistake :c)

Yes to the 800 X 600.

That's a very go-get-um and impressive attitude. I've never heard of someone walking into the interview having redesigned their site for them.

If they don't hire you, they are stupid. ;)

Thanks!

I know what you mean (required window sizes) but what trips me up (I'm still an amature) is when you have banners/graphics/etc if you use % instead of px to define your website the formatting can become all crapped up. I figure 95% of people have at least a 15in monitor with a 800x600 resolution.

Any suggestions to work around that problem? (Formatting consistency and graphics?)
