So the girlfriend has left for a week. She has things to do and people to see. Important people and things that if I told you I would have to kill you.
The punch lines is that that's only half a joke.
In the meantime I finally broke down a door and I have an interview! Its with the Center for Arms Control and Nonproliferation:

Its for a "web editor" position. From the sound of the position its someone who knows basic HTML and knows their way around a computer and web editing software. In addition they should be interested in arms control issues. In other words, I fit the bill perfectly.
I made a mockup of a "redesign" of their website for the interview:

Anyone have any advice, please email me. My interview is tomorrow (6/11/03) at 11am.
I haven't had a chance to preview the mockup site on a windows machine yet. But it looks dandy in IE 5.5 MAC and Safari.
I also have to look over that congressional letter and turn it in after my interview. I need to apply for a bunch of other jobs before the night is over, too.
