and this is a horrendous precedent to set, blocking public disclosure based on a vague fear of reprisal.

I hate this. I'll vote - but got dammmit I would really rather prefer to see the law that says: same sex marriage is legal. None of this "weeeelllll *they* can have these rights but not THESE rights and THIS is OK but if THIS happens then the world will END!" I hate that crap. Basically, your husband/partner is to you what mine is to me - I don't care if I'm a girl and you're a boy. I really, really don't. Ugh this totally irks me to do in baby steps. Rip that f'ing band-aid off - and when the world doesn't end I'll stick out my tounge at all the crazy 'family values' people say "Nanny, nanny, boo, boo -- NOW what are you gonna get all crazy about huh?"
