I'm waiting tonight to watch the sunrise over the pyramids at Giza. My life feels uncomfortable.

It is november now.  I was in Orlando again last week.  Everything is still all lush and green down there.  I came home and the last of the leaves had fallen.  I've spent most of the weekend clawing around in a pit of philosophical debates.  Tossing garbled gobbledy gook academic terms around makes me feel ridiculous and pretentious.  It's funny ( Read more... )

Tonight I'm watching the 'Heroes' marathon on whatever channel Heroes is on.
I think it would be funny to have to play a drunk kid on a television show.
Meeting new people is fun.

I walked down to the center of town today.  I broke out my jacket for the fist time in months and found $15 in the pocket.  It's always great to find money that you've forgotten you had.  Even though I think I remember leaving it there on purpose, it still felt pretty good.  Also won $1k on a scratch ticket.  That was fun stuff ( Read more... )

Music is a funny thing.  Occasionally there are songs.  Sometimes I'll give them away.  People and places become fused to the music in my memory and every re-playing conjures memories of them emanating from that one point--frozen in time--when the association was formed.  Perhaps I can find a book.  It should be an interesting thing to study: How ( Read more... )

If  I were to look back several months (years?) from now I would want to remember walking along the esplanade deciphering the buildings along the cambridge bank.  Counting the only stars and hiding in the grass.
