My quest for a new entertainment unit began this weekend. Originally the plan was to spend the entire weekend hacking and sawing and nailing and filing and sanding and hammering with my dad. Considering lunch didn't finish until 2pm and we had to go to Mr Bunnings for wood, two hours to dowl the wood together before the sun set on Saturday was

Terrifying stuff. I'll be dealing with new curtains soon. I think I may need to start buying myself frilly aprons.

And when my husband comes home at 6pm sharp I'll have a glass of sherry ready and a roast dinner on the table in 10 minutes. (Now if only I had a table... and some sherry... and the foresight to know when I've taken this too far.)
