I just realized why I'm never gonna get a girlfriend- because I'm too fucking shy about girls being more than friends. Even though I think the girl I like might like me too, I'll probably never ask her out because I'm a fuckin' pussy. ARRRRGGGG!! WHY AM I SUCH A LOSER?! Everything fucking sucks right now.

how about this -
if your a really shy type of guy and your possibly worried about rejection, then flirt with her and see how she reacts. If you already do.. boost it up a notch! or get a mutual friend to drop hints to her. or just ask her out! build up your confidence and take the risk. The worst thing she could do is say no, and there's an opportunity that she will say yes ... and if she does, you'll be happy and so will she. Don't let yourself live in regret. If you dont ask her out somehow, you will always wonder what she would've said.

Wow, for some reason, that sounds very un-Julia. I don't know why, but that just doesn't read like anything you've written or said to me before. Althought I would have to say, it's probably the best pieces of straight advice you've ever given me and probably close to the most inspirational. I still don't know if I'm gonna do anything about it, but I do feel better, like I'm closer to trying at least. Thanks a bunch.
