It is a wonder to me just how delighted I was to trundle in through the main gate with a majority of the kids and all of the grandkids. They were a glory of tie-dyes. Wow! What a great day! Do you think the gorgeous young man was thinking of the food and such?

Sadly, I don't think so. I'm afraid he was thinking I might be a cougar who would leap at dark meat if it was offered. I'm quite friendly and outgoing. I frequently talk to strangers about just about anything. Sometimes I even wander off with them to persue whatever we've been discussing. Usually I can tell if some guy I'm talking to is taking it wrong, but this one caught me by surprise. He wasn't dangerous, just disturbing. For his sake, not mine. He is clearly someone who lacks solid love in his life. That is very sad indeed.

The crop art was great this year! It's funny how it's become the chosen medium for political satire.

Yeah! I find it significant. This is a rural art and can be expected to be pretty conservative. All that speaking out about her, which took countless hours of painstaking work, suggests that this nonsense isn't playing in our heartland anymore. And certainly the media is never going to tell us. Yet they managed to get the message out. No Neo-con messages this year. Yay.

I enjoyed the fair this year, but there are so many attractions there I have yet to enjoy that I'm already looking forward to going again next year.

Yay. I love the fair. It really does feel like the great MN get together to me. And I belatedly thought of things I missed too. However, I pushed myself further than I should have as it was. But, as you say, there's next year.
