If it's any consulation, most of the people that I've considered talented, just really work at what they want to excel at. They'll spend countless hours pouring all of their energies into one activity. There may be those that are just burn with an innate talent, but I believe 80% of what others call talent is just plain old hard work. Pick something you want to be good at, and work towards that one thing.
