A room in Cair Paravel, then the hallways of same - Sunday morning, early

Nov 09, 2008 04:03

Parker's internal alarm clock usually has her up and awake by dawn at the latest. Being in another dimension does not change this. Nor does not being in her own room. Even being very, very tired doesn't effect it. She just usually goes right back to sleep, if she has no reason to get up ( Read more... )

Cameron was up early, or better to say, he hadn't gone to bed yet. He'd dodged out of the reception early and went wandering around the castle. Narnia was an interesting place and he'd ended up talking to a few local residents before wandering outside.

He was just on his way back to his room when he ran into Parker. "You look in a good mood."

Parker grinned at him and then did a little pirouette, not exactly trying to look innocent. Maybe mischievous. "Do I? Probably because I slept well. You're up early, Cam-boy."

"I'm going to guess I don't want to know what you're up to, Parkie," he decided.

"Or already done," Parker told him, beaming. "And I won't tell you, so don't worry. You can maintain a perfectly serene mind. What are you up to?"

Anders had not brought cigarettes with him on this trip, not wanting to risk the bride's wrath, but he did get cravings from time to time. Like now; he'd slipped out of bed and gone on a long twitchy walk through the hallways to get rid of it.

"Well," he said, all tousled hair and rumpled pajamas and stubble as he blinked at her. "There are things I could've lived without knowing about you, Parker. Okay, I knew, I just didn't need the proof."

Parker gave him her most butter-won't-melt-in-my -mouth look, batting her eyelashes as she swung her shoes from her fingertips. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Possibly more convincing without one guy's tie and another guy's shirt, but, you work with what you've got.

"Much as men's wear looks good on you, it's just not your style," Anders pointed out dryly. "I think I know you a little better than that by now."

Parker's grin was bright and gleeful, and wholly lacking in guilt. "Well then. I feel like I should apologize, but, oh right. Not sorry. Given the amount of TMI you, Bel and Phoebe have accidentally exposed me too, this is just desserts, Anders." She bounced forward on her toes and pecked him on the cheek. "And it's good to see you, Daisy!"

Barely moving when Parker left, Tony was enjoying the little sleep he was getting right now. A nice busy evening always took care of those little things that kept him awake.

He wasn't even going back to his own bed yet. It was warm, he wasn't going to complain.

Tyler sucked at sleeping, always had.

But, somehow, a workout like that was the equivalent of about three Valium and a good bowel cancer support group meeting. He shifted drowsily as Parker left, settling closer to Tony before falling back into sleep.

Well that would only end with Tony doing the natural thing to having a warm figure in bed with him. He latched on, attempting to spoon, despite the height differences.

Tyler went a little stiff, then let himself relax. It was safe. "Mmmmm," he announced, drooling slightly into Tony's shoulder.
