Golden Globe Nominees 2006

The nominations were announced earlier today. There are some interesting choices this year, with a lot more focus on smaller, more independent films. There were some disappointments and some pleasant surprises. I'm not mentioning all the categories, just the ones that really interest me ( Read more... )

Kate Winslet should win, and then she should be nominated for an Oscar and win that too. They OWE her after that losing to Helen Hunt crap.

Oh, I know. She's been an Oscar nominee five times. You've got to figure that she should be getting one any day now.

I've seen nothing related to the movie categories so I have no opinions. Though I agree, Kate Winslet's Oscar is waaaaay overdue.

I don't even remember if House was nominated last year. At least Hugh got a nod again.... maybe the Emmy's will get the picture this time.

I think "House" was nominated but it didn't win. Hugh won last year though so chances are they won't give it to him again, which is stupid.
