I just got back from watching Hairspray. I absolutly LOVED this film. It made me wish I'd seen it on stage while it was playing in Toronto a couple of years back. Hopefully this film will start a new wave of Hairspray-frenzy and it will return ( Read more... )

John Travolta will always own my heart as Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever; if you give him a good script and a good character, he's usually an amazing actor. He looks so adorable as Edna!

I've never seen all of Saturday Night Fever. He'll always be Danny Zuko, from Grease, for me. :) He's so awesome as Edna.

I really loved everyone in this movie too.
I really got the impression that the entire cast was having a lot of fun on the set. And it's just so hard to not have fun yourself when that's the case. Travolta and Walken especially were a delight in my opinion. Kind of odd what amazing chemistry they had as a couple! :D

Everyone looked like they were having such an incredible time. I wish I could sing and dance, I totally would have loved being in a film like that. :) Anyone who doesn't enjoy this film has no heart. lol.

Travolta and Walken did have great chemistry. Cutest husband and wife team of the year!

Oh, me too! My cheeks actually hurt after the movie from smiling.

I wish I could sing. And dance. It would be so much fun.

I loved this movie, just saw it yesterday. An honorable mention goes out to the girl that played Little Inez. She was brilliant, I expect we'll see her somewhere soon.

Yeah, Little Inez was great. I was pleasantly surprised when she won the Miss Hairspray award at the end.
