1. My flist! Among other reasons, several people posted recs in multiple fandoms I am interested in, meaning I have a ton of To Read booknmarks on Delicious to go through over the next few days

My "car" is a silver truck with a shell (I have it for my business.) It is new, too, and it is definitely male so it was named, several months ago, by me and my S.O.: Godrick.
I named my car Gladys, after Flavia de Luce's trusty bicycle. I had just finished The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie and it stuck with me! Of course, it took 4 months to find a name that fit, so take your time...it sounds like she'll be with you for a while!
Also, I adore How to Train, isn't it such fun? It's utterly enjoyable!
I appreciate that, but I'm inclined not to, just because it won't actually mean anything who doesn't already know the movie, anyway. It would almost be more of a spoiler for anyone who DOESN'T know the story to point out it's a spoiler.
Also, it's a remake of a 32-year-old movie and an even older book. I think it's hit the statute of spoileration. :-)

Oh, I like Godrick as a name for a truck! Wouldn't work here, though.

I'd name it after Henry II, but Henry is a terrible name for a car, IMHO.
