I commend them for at least changing their minds in time for the writers to come up with a way to wrap it up with the last set next year,
Yeah, except that they were starting to film the last episode of next season yesterday. Which means the writers have had to re-do the ending in the last 24 hours. I have faith that they will do what they can but, man, that's got to be horribly stressful.

Ugh. I hadn't realized that they were already filming next season.
