Nate hadn't really fallen asleep, yet, but he had fallen somewhere into that light dozing area, one arm over Wade's hip and his head pillowed against the couch.

He rubbed at said hip when it became obvious Wade was waking up, and tilted his head at the television.

"Right," he said, fingertips rubbing more along the line of Wade's hip, subconsciously. "Well, it's not a bad idea to keep it in mind - the island sneaks surprises on us that come with all kinds of warning signs. A dream you think feels like a 'flashback' might be something."

"...should I get the weapons out?" Don't sound so eager, Wade. "You know. In case of invasion."

"You ever don't have them out...?"

There was a pause. "Okay, you have a point there."

Nate patted him, and possibly slid two fingers under his shirt. "While I think vigilance is a good idea," he said, "We should probably not start shooting at shadows just yet."

"...you're puttin' the moves on me as we discuss this, aren'tcha?" Wade asked, looking a lil' too smug on the matter.

Nate shot him a glance. "I think it's important to discuss this," he said, pressing his fingers to one scar. "But there's not much else we can do at the moment."

Yeah, Nate.

Nate poked him in the side. "Quiet."

"Tryin' to distract me from thoughts of ex's. I'm onto you," Wade said instead of 'quieting'. Because this what he did, damn it.
