He was merely sitting in his office, contemplating his now gone children. Nothing depressing about that, right?

Knock, knock, knock! Turtle stopped by before returning to work after writing class.

Still not sulking or being e-mooooo, Deadpool sighed and sat back up in his chair. "It's open!"

What better way to cure sulking or e-moooooo than a fifteen year old lecturing you on resposibility, right?

Turtle bounced in and plopped onto a chair and, with her best important, imploring look, peered over at Deadpool. "I'll have you know," she said, sternly as possible, "that a child is not a proper substitution for your responsibilities, Mr. Deadpool, but I suppose I should thank you for the gesture of at least sending some replacement this week instead of just putzing out on us like you did last week."

And, as important and professional as she was trying to be, she couldn't help concluding with a pout.

"Yeah, things keep coming up," Deadpool muttered. "So! Have you gone to the range with your gun yet?"

Still a bit emo about her own little one's departure, Rikku knocked on her mentor's door.

Rikku stepped in. "Is that another sport-thing? 'Cause most of your sports here are kinda lame. You need to see blitzball sometime. Way better."

"Uh, you're not busy or anything, are you?"

"Yeah, it's a sports thing. And I'll have to take your word on that one." He sighed. "I'm free."
