Office Hours, All day Wednesday

Deadpool wasn't sulking and he would be shocked and disappointed to hear anyone describe his actions as such. Thankfully he can't read his mun's mind.

He was merely sitting in his office, contemplating his now gone children. Nothing depressing about that, right?

Knock, knock, knock! Turtle stopped by before returning to work after writing class.

Still not sulking or being e-mooooo, Deadpool sighed and sat back up in his chair. "It's open!"

What better way to cure sulking or e-moooooo than a fifteen year old lecturing you on resposibility, right?

Turtle bounced in and plopped onto a chair and, with her best important, imploring look, peered over at Deadpool. "I'll have you know," she said, sternly as possible, "that a child is not a proper substitution for your responsibilities, Mr. Deadpool, but I suppose I should thank you for the gesture of at least sending some replacement this week instead of just putzing out on us like you did last week."

And, as important and professional as she was trying to be, she couldn't help concluding with a pout.

"Yeah, things keep coming up," Deadpool muttered. "So! Have you gone to the range with your gun yet?"

Trying to change the subject? Maybe.

"Yes, I have, and don't change the subject!" Turtle's pout became more pronounced, arms crossing over her chest. "If you were my employee, you know, I could so fire you right now. Maybe I should, find a new advisor who will actually show up. Is that what you want? Because if you didn't wnat to do anymore, you could have just told me, you know."

Oh, the pouting was strong. So strong. There might have even been a wibble. She was learning to use a gun for him! And he couldn't even show up for club anymore? Not. Fair.

What was he supposed to say? I haven't been showing up because I kinda want to brutally murder that John Connor kid in the club and don't trust myself to not do it?

"That's not it. I'll- I'll be there next week." He'd just have to make sure that dickweed didn't look at him or talk. At all.

Turtle studied Mr. Deadpool's face carefully, as if she'd be able to really read sincerity through the mask, discovered that she couldn't and sighed, leaning back in the chair. "Good."

"Okay then." Deadpool looked away before regaining his composure. "So! You met Kid, huh?"

"Mmhm," Turtle nodded. "Got a good mind for business. I like 'er. She gone now like all the other kids, or was she really a 'surprise' daytime talkshow moment, and you've got a ba--"

As Turtle talked, her mind went with it and the idea of a Mr. Deadpool's Baby-Mama being the reason why he might have been skipping out on meetings stopped her dead in her tracks. Did. Not. Need. To. Be. Thinking. About. That.

The. End.

"Uh, yeah, she's great."

"Left last night," Deadpool confirmed. "And yeah. She was a little merc in training. Took after her mom in the business end though."

Turtle nodded a little. "I can't remember if she mentioned her mom at all. I ended up getting too distracted by Jim being an idiot. To catch you up on things, we made and bottled the glitter. Hit the market today. So far, a nice selling at the store."

"I'll have to stop by the store and buy some then," He replied. A good faculty advisor supported his club with money. Lots of money.

Yeah, especially when they were slacking off! "Good. Excellent. Speaking of which, I should probably get back before Apu lets Liz knock over the display I set up. But if you can't make it, no big deal, 'cause John, Jim, and Naomi should all be trying to sell some, too."

She said that last part in a manner that suggested that, if they weren't? A really nasty kick was awaiting them, which only reminded Turtle that if Mr. Deadpool didn't show up next meeting? Same thing for him.

"I'll be by after my office hours are up." It was a promise. He liked his shins unkicked, thank you.
