Deadpool wasn't sulking and he would be shocked and disappointed to hear anyone describe his actions as such. Thankfully he can't read his mun's mind.
He was merely sitting in his office, contemplating his now gone children. Nothing depressing about that, right?

Turtle bounced in and plopped onto a chair and, with her best important, imploring look, peered over at Deadpool. "I'll have you know," she said, sternly as possible, "that a child is not a proper substitution for your responsibilities, Mr. Deadpool, but I suppose I should thank you for the gesture of at least sending some replacement this week instead of just putzing out on us like you did last week."
And, as important and professional as she was trying to be, she couldn't help concluding with a pout.

Oh, the pouting was strong. So strong. There might have even been a wibble. She was learning to use a gun for him! And he couldn't even show up for club anymore? Not. Fair.

"That's not it. I'll- I'll be there next week." He'd just have to make sure that dickweed didn't look at him or talk. At all.

As Turtle talked, her mind went with it and the idea of a Mr. Deadpool's Baby-Mama being the reason why he might have been skipping out on meetings stopped her dead in her tracks. Did. Not. Need. To. Be. Thinking. About. That.
The. End.
"Uh, yeah, she's great."

She said that last part in a manner that suggested that, if they weren't? A really nasty kick was awaiting them, which only reminded Turtle that if Mr. Deadpool didn't show up next meeting? Same thing for him.
