While in this form, Bobby can use his heat to fly; have super strength (is in the 50 ton range); fire off plasma, concussion, and fiery blasts; and control solar radiation and temperatures in the air around him.
OH THIS IS TRICKY because writers tend to be very inconsistent with him. His body itself doesn't get very hot when in that form, and people can actually touch him. The light of the black form is a corona aura/effect so it's more of a visual thing than anything else.
The radiation temperatures can get hot enough to make people extremely uncomfortable/pass out/and most likely even kill them (because he can absorb even body heat straight out of people). This also goes for his blasts because he's actually redirecting pure sunlight. So while they've never actually given a stated temperature in canon, it's been referred to insanely intense heat :/
If you're familiar with Human Torch or Sunfire, they use the same type of high temp heat to fly (thermal up drafts), so it's quite possible his temperatures could rival theirs if he were to really exert himself (though that has not been proven, that's just the closest example I can think of). Mutant Ability: He releases thermochemical energy as an impenetrable blast field, using it as a personal shield or extending it to encompass others, focus it into rocket thrust or bio-kinetic blasts from his hands, shape the field around another person to imprison them, or absorb outside kinetic impact into his own energy supply, then re-channel it to increase the bludgeoning power of his blows or create explosive shock waves upon impact. He's also part of a race called Externals so he's all immortal too~

SO I SHOULD KIND OF KNOW THIS SINCE I... READ THE APPLICATION but what are the limitations on this? I mean, I'd imagine he'd be able to read them from a significant distance, but will he be able to connect auras to people's voices via communicator conversations, without context?

Power Level: Alpha Mutant Ability: She is able to turn herself into a shitload of sand (OR AS WIKIPEDIA SAYS, SAND-LIKE SILICON PARTICLES..................... FUCK YOU WIKIPEDIA), which she then controls! Sooraya is essentially able to just... flay people... hideously. While in sand form she can also essentially fly, cut through materials up to and including solid steel, pass through ridiculously small spaces, form... like, sand bodies and hands and shit out of the sand, and dissipate to the point where she's practically invisible. Also, she's kind of magically resistant and very hard to detect telepathically when in sand form!
He has to see them physically! Doesn't work through video or audio means, and he can't do anything fancy like know who a person is by their voice + knowing their aura.
