decided to take a long weekend, so i'm off today through monday.  today i seem to be just vegging - slept in and now i'm sitting on the patio, cruising the net and trying to knit

I don't let my cats outdoors. Viscosity won't go out (it doesn't have a ceiling!) and Decibel, well Deci worries me. He seems awful skinny even though I feed him all the time. But yeah, cat translator good. Deci would probably just say "FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!" all the time but I would like to know what Viscy thinks about Deci. Viscy has gotten to where he will groom Deci from time to time though Deci doesn't return the favor. I would like to know if it is just a dominant cat behavior or if something is weird.

Why don't you go the a museum or something? Make a day of it.

deci sounds like my skinny girl. she will gobble down her dinner and half of fred's (if he's not quick) - and then come to check out what i'm eating, and let me know that she would be more than happy to help me eat that hunk of fish, or chicken, or steak - and yet she is lean as a rail. i know she has enough to eat - in addition to canned food, they have dry food always available, and they can eat as much as they want. of course, she spends a lot of her waking life moving at top speed, which i figure is where it all goes. deci probably does the same

That is the cutest thing ever! The whole giving up his dinner and all! It is so crazy that I love your cats but don't even know them (plus they could potentially kill me lol). They are just too cute though. I love your little stories about them and the pictures!

I second the notion that you do something and maximize your enjoyment for your days off! You deserve a break! :)

nah, my kittens could never kill you (unless you have _really_ bad allergies). fred has caught the occasional small bird, but angelina generally takes them away from him. angelina has great ambitions, but so far she mostly catches butterflies (and the occasional lizard tail).

i did spend part of yesterday at balboa park, with much wandering around taking pictures. today i was going to get out and shop, but seem to have spent the day on the web - well, that's enjoyable too. i am determined to get to the beach on monday - and do some fun shopping.

I am very allergic. But who knows, it has been many years since I tested it, maybe it has gotten better. The only problem is they make my throat swell up on the inside so I don't want to test it, you know? ;p

i really _meant_ to get to the beach....but somehow i ended up shopping instead :(
