Also - holy crap, the Scatman has been dead for like a decade?!?

Also, I always assumed that he was black because of how his voice sounded. I made the same mistake with the singer in Blood Sweat and Tears back in the day, too.

I don't know this fellow at all, but he looks like he might be African-American to me. Just sayin'.

Hmmm. Well, this is his famous thing. He looked white to me, but maybe you're right. A quick search doesn't turn up a genetic analysis or anything.

Yeah, he was sort of a novelty act, I guess. He was famous in Japan after his blip passed here.
