Timeline
Dolorosa arrives at Mayfield and is unsettled to discover she has been turned into some weird, squishy, pink creatures that she is told called a human. Upon reaching the telephone she speaks to Kanaya (a girl very much like herself), Gamzee (a troll who uses bad language), a nice girl named Jade, a particularly odd boy, Aradia (a troll who defies death), and the heiress who approves of Signless's message. The most interesting person she's met is a young troll much like Signless, Karkat, who is a born leader and ashamed of his blood.
In her house she meets a man who claims to be a country, and another young troll, Sollux, who told her a bit about Mayfield. Eventually Dolorosa left the house and went searching around town, meeting more interesting people. Doc Scratch, one of the first people she ran into, seems to know everything about her and her race. She's a bit wary of him. But she is helped around town by a cute little boy named Luke who makes everything better. In town she meets a troll named Eridan who needs to be forgiven for past mistakes, Dolorosa is happy to offer him solace. While on a walk she meets Anon who is hunting, they talk about their respective cultures and their ideas on peace and war. She also met someone with a lot of combat training as well as a cute little girl. During a different walk she met Trisha, another mother who was also searching for her sons.
Quickly Dolorosa learned what the town was capable of. Enter Shroomfield. Before being affected herself Dolorosa came into contact with many who were hallucinating or upset from what they previously saw. She attempted to comfort Sollux and Eridan, and ran into Tavros who was mid hallucination. After her own hallucinations she was consoled by Sollux, Aradia, John (the other boy in her household), Karkat, and Feferi. She also spoke to Terezi, a girl who thinks Karkat to be "extremely unpleasant". Dolorosa is now aware of what Mayfield is capable of and will forever be on the lookout for such events.
