REASON 36 WHY I REGRET MOVING AWAY FROM CUMBRIA.The techical calls. Since the age of six months I have surpassed my family in such feats as how to work the VCR or replacing batteries in the remote. This is even funnier now that I've met your parents. I can just imagine all this in their voices. How is anyone in Workington surviving without you, dude?

I'm totally laughing at your pain. I wish I felt bad about it, but I don't. My mother calls Facebook "Spacebook" and has me show her how to change channels on her TV EVERY FRIDAY.

She has Alzheimer's, but still!

Hahah My entire family does this to me, too. And I can recall yelling "Yes, you DO have it! EVERY KEYBOARD HAS IT!" more than a few times. My father will sit at his computer and then tell me that he "opened the thing but the other box isn't coming up" as if I'm supposed to be able to diagnose the problem like that. My aunt calls me to go over to her place 20 minutes away every time they get a new DVD player or other simple tech thing. And the best was the other night when my dad called me telling me the mute on his tv went on but wouldn't go off, after suggesting turning the sound up and down, turning the tv on and off, replacing the batteries I go over to look at it myself and it turned out the channel he had it on was just one that the sound wasn't coming in on.

Oh my. This makes me feel so much better about the surreal conversation I had with Mama Blaize today about how her facebook newsfeed and profile were two different things, and that everyone sees something different on their newsfeed because we don't all have the same friends. Lord knows what confusion twitter would cause.
