I don't know Stork, so I can't say anything when it comes to him. But as for Kid, I really do enjoy him. I think you got his voice down and I love interacting with him! I guess if I have to note something is that I think he's too serious? But I think that's only because right now, he's still trying to adapt to Thor and also in Soul Eater, everything is SRS BSNS time and so far, everyone (but blair) have been pulled right around the recent chapters where shit's going down. SO I'M OVERLOOKING IT.

SO, YOU'RE AWESOME WITH KID AND I'M HOPING FUTURE SHENANIGANS ONCE EVERYONE CALMS THEIR TITS. With Black Star being around, that will come easy. He makes everyone go crazy.

Definitely! That's probably my main worry with Kid's characterization, because I don't want to make him too angsty, but on the other hand I don't want him to come off as too shallow especially with the OCD.

I'll try and strike a better balance for it going forward.

I shall comment on the only canon I should actually know about:

Rachel: it's always so hard to establish a "canon" personality for this series, because even the official writers can't seem to make up their minds, but I think you've done a pretty astounding job taking the less-annoying aspects of Miss Berry and putting them on a Space Ship. The fact that she is BFFs with Kurt does seem a bit weird to me at times, but it is canon (apparently), so I can't really argue.

I do, however, feel like she should really have more of a presence on the ship. She comes off a bit timid for Rachel in the threads and posts I've seen. I'm not sure what her CR is like with other people, and I know that she's just trying to make friends again with Brittany, but...much as I don't always like her...I'm starting to miss Le Diva.

Hilariously enough I did a plurk yesterday saying that she doesn't have enough antagonistic relationships and I want that to change. I do have her be annoying in threads, but I think the problem is that... people seem to be more forgiving here than they are in canon? Like in a thread with Gakupo, she went full out diva on him, but in the end he ended up forgiving that and I was like. Sob!!

I agree though, I really do want to have her lash out more but so far all her CR mainly go O RACHEL U SO WEIRD. There are some that's consistently negatively, like her and Panty, but hmmm.

Re: Kurt friendship. Yeah, it is canon now but-- they do still argue and snark and stuff at each other so they're not like BEST FRIENDS FOREEEVEEERRRR or anything. Since Zia has been on hiatus recently we haven't really had much chances to show it though.

Interestingly enough, I had a similar situation with Britt; most of her CR is positive simply because they found her "confusion" either amusing or adorable. She does have the occasional negative CR (mostly Panty, Atem, and a few other srs bzns individuals), but the majority of her friends have actually had a positive influence on her. Because most of her mistakes were relatively innocent, and she recently had to face some major consequences of her flirty ways.

Rachel, on the other hand, has been shown to be manipulative to the point of cruelty, and downright selfish. If people on the ship are more forgiving of her Diva-ness, don't you think that would encourage her to go even further with her shenanigans? Like how in the show, bitchiness tends to get reigned in because people call you out on that sort of thing. But how far would Rachel--a girl who once sent a potential rival to a CRACK HOUSE--if she thinks there won't be consequences? Just something to consider in the future.

Larsa ♔ is still adapting to English that is not archaic and Middle. So if he doesn't sound like ... say, Basch... it's because he's learning. He should still be pretty formal with people of high status though, so hit me if he's being informal with them.

Genis ♘ is actually more active than usual! Shocking! Doing my best to have him get out there more and talk to all the people. I may need to canon review for him, though, so if you have advice lay it on me!

Dojima ♝ is in the hospital. What I mean to say is I took an unofficial hiatus for a while due to IRL and thus haven't had a chance to intro him yet. But he's coming out of the hospital today, no ifs ands or buts about it. Since I haven't actually intro'd him yet, I know it'd be hard to crit me, but if you can think of anything please let me know! Or wait til I actually intro him later today. But he really was in the hospital due to the car crash from his canon point!

I'm glad! I'm forever worried about how people view Larsa's development in that regard since Ivalice is all about Middle English and archaic terms. So I'm glad I'm not doing horribly so!
