I shall comment on the only canon I should actually know about:

Rachel: it's always so hard to establish a "canon" personality for this series, because even the official writers can't seem to make up their minds, but I think you've done a pretty astounding job taking the less-annoying aspects of Miss Berry and putting them on a Space Ship. The fact that she is BFFs with Kurt does seem a bit weird to me at times, but it is canon (apparently), so I can't really argue.

I do, however, feel like she should really have more of a presence on the ship. She comes off a bit timid for Rachel in the threads and posts I've seen. I'm not sure what her CR is like with other people, and I know that she's just trying to make friends again with Brittany, but...much as I don't always like her...I'm starting to miss Le Diva.

Hilariously enough I did a plurk yesterday saying that she doesn't have enough antagonistic relationships and I want that to change. I do have her be annoying in threads, but I think the problem is that... people seem to be more forgiving here than they are in canon? Like in a thread with Gakupo, she went full out diva on him, but in the end he ended up forgiving that and I was like. Sob!!

I agree though, I really do want to have her lash out more but so far all her CR mainly go O RACHEL U SO WEIRD. There are some that's consistently negatively, like her and Panty, but hmmm.

Re: Kurt friendship. Yeah, it is canon now but-- they do still argue and snark and stuff at each other so they're not like BEST FRIENDS FOREEEVEEERRRR or anything. Since Zia has been on hiatus recently we haven't really had much chances to show it though.

Interestingly enough, I had a similar situation with Britt; most of her CR is positive simply because they found her "confusion" either amusing or adorable. She does have the occasional negative CR (mostly Panty, Atem, and a few other srs bzns individuals), but the majority of her friends have actually had a positive influence on her. Because most of her mistakes were relatively innocent, and she recently had to face some major consequences of her flirty ways.

Rachel, on the other hand, has been shown to be manipulative to the point of cruelty, and downright selfish. If people on the ship are more forgiving of her Diva-ness, don't you think that would encourage her to go even further with her shenanigans? Like how in the show, bitchiness tends to get reigned in because people call you out on that sort of thing. But how far would Rachel--a girl who once sent a potential rival to a CRACK HOUSE--if she thinks there won't be consequences? Just something to consider in the future.

You definitely have a point with all the similarities and such. I guess I had just seen their relationship as going the way of more "friendly rivals" than outright best friends. I don't necessarily mind them being friends...it's more like I felt it snuck up on me, considering the majority of on-screen development seemed to be between them and other people.

(Rachel and Kurt could be their own spinoff...in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they do)

AND I TOTALLY CARE! Or I still wouldn't be debating over this. :-P

I think the issue there is that, she did all that stuff without actually realizing at the time what she was doing was messed up. Like when she cheated on Finn, she legit thought she was doing the right thing to make things even between the two of them. And by the point I took her from, she had already realized that both things (the cheating and the crack house) were horrible and selfish and dumb.

I think my point is that-- yes, she's selfish and mean! But she doesn't make the effort to do it consciously. She doesn't wake up and think, "Man, I want to send someone to a crack house because of my pride and jealousy!" There has to be something to drive her to do it. So yeah, I'd LOVE to play out that petty and awful side of her, but unless something comes up that drives her to be that terrible, it won't come out in full blast? I can play up the divaness any time I want, sure, that's fine. And she does take advantage of people's niceness, it's just. Not to that super extreme degree? I doubt there will be something like the Sunshine

I never meant to imply that it was intentional. If anything, just the opposite; she needed to be TOLD that what she was doing was really, really wrong. What happens if that doesn't happen?

^ I sorta replied this this one above. It does get confusing. One minute, they're rivals, the next they're having slumber parties together. I have no problem with them being friends...and my apologies if I came off that way...I just...I guess I can't understand why they're being interpreted as being as close as they seemed to be at the end. Understanding and following a similar dream just isn't enough for me, when there was so much development between them and other characters as well.

I think that would be really fun to mess with, actually. The problem is... making it happen, I guess? Cause like I said, there was something that pushed her into making all that drama in canon. Back home, she was in her element and she DID WHAT SHE WANT cause of it. Here? Not so much. Like I have her talk about music and stuff obnoxiously, but on Thor most people don't get it, while in canon they do. I think it's a thing with Gleeverse in general, like the show is so over the top and crazy it's difficult translating how wacky it can get in a different setting, if you know what I mean

Good point. Man, I wish we still had the rest of our Gravitation Cast. That would have made for some AMAZING diva dynamics. Especially with Shuu And Ryuu. We also had a Quinn app, but she's hasn't responded to the revision request last time I checked, so I'm not getting my hopes up at this point.

Oh, man, I hope so. Two things I'm looking forward to are getting back to the "We are Glee Club" bond that I felt was really lost with all the OMGDRAMAANDTRIBUTSANDSHINYTHINGS...and a Brittany/Santana duet of T.A.T.U. That is my dream.

I am so sad about the Gravitation cast, I really wanted shenanigans with them sob. And there was a Puck app too, but they deleted it before apps were being checked...
