NEW HOUSEHOLD RULES FOR THE CAT

1. The human is not a trampoline. This rule is in effect any time the human is in the bed.

2. The human's bed is not a trampoline. This rule is also in effect any time the human is in the bed.

3. When in doubt (AND IF THE HUMAN IS IN THE GODDAMN BED), see Rules #1 and #2 above.

But prolly, the way to punish her is to photograph or videotape her doing it. Well, I suppose that depends on how camera shy she is.

Say, my kid just heard back that he got accepted at SJSU -- that's where you went, right? (Not the kid you met that time -- she is at college already -- this is another one) So far, everybody I know who went there seems to recall it fondly -- Y/N?

Hi! Yes, I went to SJSU and I do have fond memories. It ranks fairly well for what used to be a teacher's college, IMHO. I think that they try hard to provide a decent education. This may be more difficult now, given the State of California budget crises, of course...

But congratulations to your son! I found university life so liberating and broadening and I often contemplate the idea of going back for a graduate degree.
