New fandom: The Big Bang Theory

Back from Calgary at last. For me, the highlights of the trip were the Vietnamese food (cheap, good, and everywhere), the hot springs at Banff, and dinosaur fossils (the Royal Tyrrell Museum has earned a spot on my top ten favorite museums list, and I am very picky about museums).

I'm not so much a part of the fandom, but I adore the show. It's had its issues, but it's mostly a damned good, nerdy time.

From what I see, a hell of a lot of people ship Penny/Sheldon. I'm not for or against the pairing, so I'm cool either way. But here's a Sheldon/Penny rec from one of my f-listers. It's fun and naughty:
