New fandom: The Big Bang Theory
Back from Calgary at last. For me, the highlights of the trip were the Vietnamese food (cheap, good, and everywhere), the hot springs at Banff, and dinosaur fossils (the Royal Tyrrell Museum has earned a spot on my top ten favorite museums list, and I am very picky about museums).
While we were there, the Comedy Network aired a marathon of The Big Bang Theory, which I had never watched before. IT HOOKED ME LIKE A TROUT. I'm a bit freaked out by how many neuroses/quirks I have in common with Sheldon - which my husband was helpful enough to point out - although thankfully I'm not as entirely devoid of social skills. Nor as brilliant, alas!
So I have a new fandom. Where is the good stuff, dear flist? (No need to worry about spoilers, since I've seen random episodes from all over the timeline.)
