So I'm back home now, utterly exhausted and with a lump of German in my brain that I'm still trying to assimilate properly. It was hell about half the time. (Severe sleep deprivation due to underage drunks! No English speaking! No air conditioning! Abominable coffee! Packing a year's worth of language lessons into ten days!) Naturally, I can't wait

It sounds like an incredible experience, but the bad coffee? Ouch!

I still miss Christopher Eccleston; it's a pain that hasn't abated.

I cried a couple of times in the privacy of my room and made a few desperate phone calls to H and my dad. It really is crazily intense. I got home on Monday afternoon and I'm still as mentally, physically, and emotionally drained as I ever was during finals week in college.
