So what exactly was the Flash-Mob event? Just a gathering? I've attended a few flash-mob-type events held by Improv Everywhere (check them out if you haven't heard of them) in NYC. The one's I attended were MP3 experiments where everyone has the same (or sometimes not the same) MP3 directing them to do silly things in public, basically coordinating hundreds of people to cause interesting scenes. Their other events are similar, but the desired "performance" is usually pre-scripted or explained to participants in advance.

I don't think we had a specific theme for this flash mob event except to show up at Kensico for 15 minutes and then disperse. It was an abbreviated geocaching event.
