The Starsky household has one very distinguishing feature: art on window blinds - presumably David Starsky (PMG) originals?

The very vaguely sketched face in the kitchen in "Gillian" is probably the one most people remember. For some reason, it always makes me think of Bob Dylan.

The football poster on Hutch's door has always baffled me (read: I've never liked it). Why does he have a poster of George Andrie, #66, a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, ruining the otherwise beautiful decor?

I've tried to figure out what reads on the front label of Starsky's red and blue shirts before, but after the question of the brand name arose in the S/H FB group yesterday, I finally found pictures where one can pretty much just read it (with a bit of squinting and guessing): ÉTALAGE. Compared to Starsky, Hutch is a shoe freak. Which means this is a long post.
