in my head, ryohei (WHO IS THE TEAM HEALER OK) is in the process of healing himself AND yamamoto in the span of time they needed to get trapped in that cylinder thing. and they are both going to rise up and SAVE THE DAY at the most crucial moment - which should have been now, really ><

i meant to say amano probably doesn't secretly hate him, she's just. uh. SAVING HIM UP FOR SOMETHING COOL. yeah.

Total stranger dropping by, but I just wanted to say this question bothered me too:

if irie is really on the vongola's side, WHY DID GOKUDERA WANT HIM DEAD?
Until I read a comment somewhere that said, Gokudera really didn't know Irie was on their side, and essentially, "For Irie to be truly effective, Gokudera had to be unaware of his double-agent plans. It would make Gokudera's reaction to Irie (ie. eternal hatred and KILL HIM NOW) true and more convincing to the watching Millefiore." If Irie really is a double agent and a Vongola ally infiltrating the Millefiore, he would be most effective if those around him genuinely didn't know of his true plans.

why do spoiler pics circulate faster than scans of the raw in KHR fandom?
I've always thought that some of the spoilers looked like cameraphone work/photographs: much faster and easier to get up than proper quality scans.

To add to this, (total shot in the dark, I just felt that it would be appropriate to add my comment here because of the points about Gokudera not knowing about Irie's double-agent status) it would... kind of make sense now if TYL!Hibari had been communicating with TYL!Irie. OTL, I dunno - Bhex, what you said on Plurk about Irie leaving a note for the guardians to find so that they'll know when exactly they're switching - what if it's something even more direct? What if, since it's 15-year-old Irie running around shooting the Vongola kids, TYL!Irie should remember the exact times he made the switches in the past, would know when young!Hibari got shot, probably informed TYL!Hibari about it, hence this... Exception to the rule might be Chrome, though? He seemed surprised to find her in Kokuyo Health Land. Of course, he could have been faking that surprise to fool the Cervello (who, I'm only starting to really realize, might be Byakuran's dogs, which explains why Irie's always so... stiff and jittery around them). And he might have been ( ... )

So really this chapter makes that one page of 171 that has 15YO-Irie with the mare ring in front of the Giant White Machine Thing make a hell of a lot more sense.

Ugh... I hate this chapter like nattou unstirred for the same reasons you said that she just pulled a Jump on this one. And no, this isn't as smooth as Odacchi would have done it (strangely, he doesn't pull the Jump like this). I still believe she talks a lot to Ooba Tsugumi in the Jump Pantry. T_T

Alternately, I could be mistaken to the 15 year old Irie (after re-read) and that this could be the 24 yr. old Irie who waited 10 years for them to arrive and just stripped in front of them to look more... casual. The point here is... no switch was involved. There's usually a cloud of smoke for the switch. There was no telling tale in the panel and he is still wearing his millefiore kneecaps. I think. maa...

Ah fuck. Thinking about this chapter really give me migraines. It's a love-hate moment with Amano. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT!?! And... I can't wait for the next one.

On the other end, the spoilers for Reborn come out at the same time the full raws are released for Gintama. Raws on Gintama are LQ though...

i can believe it if amano is among the ones with the weakest plot development skillz in the jump pantry. this Really Awesome plot twist had very little buildup - which i suppose contributed to the big saprize value. it leaves a bad taste in the mouth, i suppose is one way to say it? the fact that she brought about the saprize largely through omission prevents me from finding it clever ( ... )
