ice-cream, I wish I knew how to quit you

The always-awesome Cyrus will be coming over sometime this week to help me fix my bike! Until then, I have been staying around the house. I was meaning to take a walk all day, but I haven't done it yet. Argh. I did resolve to work out some at home anyway, but doing yoga in front of the TV sort of degenerated into watching TV ( Read more... )

For so many reasons, Ben & Jerry are great men to have a relationship with.

1) Ben and Jerry will always be there for you.
2) Ben and Jerry don't expect too much from you. They only want you to be happy.
3) Ben and Jerry don't care if you get a little fat.
4) Ben and Jerry don't care if you want to date other people. However, you can bet that your friends will want Ben and Jerry. And if you don't have Ben and Jerry, your friends may have Ben and Jerry. But it doesn't mean Ben and Jerry don't love you.
5) Ben and Jerry don't mind if you need to leave them for awhile. They will always be willing to take you back when you're ready for a relationship again.

Is that the show with the Scottish woman in it? I really don't like her :( I know she's doing a good thing and all, helping people get healthy, etc, but I find her so condescending and mean towards some of the people on there.
I wish you luck with giving up one of your vices, I know how difficult it can be. I just cannot give up chocolate for more than a few days. I get such huge cravings for it, particularly after a meal.
My mum and I had some Ben and jerry's the other day, cookie dough flavour. mmmm.

Yes, it is the show with the Scottish woman, and I agree with you, some of her methods do seem a little a mean and harsh. She seems to get results, though, and if in the end they are happy I suppose it's all good? I don't think I will make a habit of watching the show, though. It's on right in the middle of the day, I have better things to do!

It is really hard to give up something delicious completely. :\ I have already been tempted to cheat. Your efforts to give up chocolate are noble, but I don't feel you need to give it up! You are already very fit, you deserve a little yummy chocolate-y happiness whenever you like. :) Besides, chocolate is one of those things that is healthy in moderation!

Maybe the next time I have Ben and Jerry's again, it will be with you. :D
