RPG Character Meme
Imagine that you are in the typical Role-playing video game setting. Swords, magic, the main character who has ridiculously spiky hair. Comment with your user name, and people will tell you either or both:
1. What character archetype that you are.
2. How the fandom would treat you.

Pimp it, and Enjoy it.

You're the hawt swordsman who falls short of being badass because he's too busy being a lovable goofball.

Fandom loves you, but unfortunately, this means lots of slashfic and Mary Sues.

1) You'd be the cool guy with a sword who can still do sparkly things with magic. Probably a bishounen. You might not be on the protagonist's side at the beginning, but you'll realize that the villain's evil and will save the protagonists at the last moment. Unfortunately, your coolness might get forgotten once you've had your introductary scenes, 'cause that happens to pretty much everyone but the hero, but you'll still get the most awesome sidequests ever. Your love interest is probably older than you.

2) You'll have a horde of screaming fangirls/fanboys as well as some more restrained fans. Despite canonical heterosexuality, you'll end up with the title of Tetra Slash in the fandom.

#1.) You play the teenage techno-geek character that knows more about hacking than you should. The main character likes to shrug you off a lot, but whenever he/she's in a pinch, you're the one that saves their ass and doesn't get enough credit for it. Don't worry, you get your dues in the end.

#2.) Fans like playing the mini-games that the designers made for you. There's a small fraction that say it's the worst part of the game, but that's because they're idiots.

If you enjoyed your gaming fortune, please share the love! ^_^ ....or not.

Sidekick boy who can go on tirades about geeky stuff, yet still have it be relevant to the game; even if you actually have to pay attention to get the clue.

Fandom is slightly confused as to what to think of you. Is he helpful or just random?

Hot swordsman that often just seems to KNOW things, and possibly doubles as a spy/thief. Has wimpy stats early on but becomes absolutely godly late-game. People regret not using you when they find this out.

You'd have tons of fangirls and as a result would be sue-fodder. There would also be lots and lots of fic slashing you with the main hero.

You are the cheery magic user who joins the party after a plot-point battle i which they kick your ass. You prove to be VERY useful with your knowledge of the Enemy you now hate, but you are shifty enough where your fellow party members go back and forth about where your loyalties lie right up until the end of the game. The female lead totally likes you better then a hero.

There will be in depth flamewars that go on for years about your plotpoints with the "HE IS TOTALLY STILL EVIL" "I SAW THAT COMING HOW COULD YOU NOT SEE THAT COMING" "IS THERE GOING TO BE A SEQUEL JUST ABOUT HIM?" rabble.

The simple, relatively naive guide to the world who has a few talents but needs polishing - often he's virginal or worried about this sort of thing, and has an infinite capacity for the spazz!out.

Fangirls LOVE YOU. Though, it's a little scary, that one shot of you doin' it with your cat. . .

You'd be the young and prideful swordsman who tries to be suave, but is really a dork on the inside. However, that doesn't make you any less awesome, and you do get the hardhitting acrobatic sword skills.

Fandom would definately make you gay, even if you express interest in girls in the game. In fact, that might make you an even bigger target for slash fanbrats, but who's to say there's logic in fandom?

The over-confident, under-brained hero. You're cheerful, carry a big sword and tend to get the party into deeper shit because you're too nice to turn down a side quest. You've got a bland backstory and the white mage will obviously fall in love with you.

Fandom either loves or hates you. For some reason, you wind up in a lot of slashfic, despite being canonly straight.

Upstart Youth. The female fanbase thinks you're wee and cute, and the male fanbase worries about the possibility for gay porn.

Meanwhile, you just want to make a name for yourself as the coolest whatevar on the face of the planet. And are kinda overconvinced of the general good nature of everyone you meet.

You're more mature than anyone ever gives you credit for (in-game) and less annoying than the so-called "adult" players want to admit. Your skill at being the coolest whatevar are uberawesome, though, and nobody disagrees on that.

You are the life of the party. The one with all the gadgets and gizmos. The one with all the nifty ideas. The one not afraid to spaz and flail if things go wrong, which always leads to a laugh or a smile. You don't fight, but instead work behind the scenes, getting as much intreaction as a playable character. Yes you're the NPC, but we love you none the less because without you our life would be HELL.

You're the sidekick who, halfway through the game, when the heroine is absent (kidnapping, tragic backstory, you know the drill), gets a huge part. You singlehandedly turn the game into a buddy film, and you're a really complex character.

Fandom loves you more than the hero and the heroine combined. You're paired with both, as well as with the villains. And the rest of the party. Apparently fandom thinks you're a pimp. Unfortunately, you're the bottom in most of said relationships. /cm/ fucking adores you like nothing else.
