I saw them in November 2012, after having wanted to for manymanymany years. I think I first saw mention of them in the Portsmouth local paper back in the 80s - Dillie being a Portsmouth girl (that mention of the Kings Theatre in the programme? I spent most of my childhood there too!) After Cheap Flights decided I really really must see them live - and then they came to Hull :-)

I'd love to see them again though - in 2012 Liza was still on sabbatical and they had the other girl, she was ok but not Liza. And I think my favourite is Down With The Kids. There is a moment in the video where Dillie is so obviously enjoying herself and laughing at herself that is a joy to watch.

Dad's a big fan so I've been listening to them for as long as I can remember but seeing them live is something else entirely- this was my second time!

And Liza's brilliant isn't she? They've got a really good line up at the moment and given she's stuck with them for 10 years I hope she's staying now! Dillie nearly cracked up properly in Down With The Kids and yet they all keep perfectly straight faces during the Bulgarian Folk Songs and I really don't know how they do it!
